AI-powered DevOps tool
Many think that GitHub Copilot is just for writing code, but that’s not true; you can write CI/CD configs, debug pipelines, and even suggest infrastructure code.
GitHub is also testing Agentic DevOps features, where Copilot can reason about PRs, explain failing builds, and optimize workflows.
⚠️ Early reviews suggest it still struggles with more complex or DevOps specific tasks and may need further refinement.
Learning Resources
GenAI for DevOps Free Bootcamp
Created by Derek Morgan in collaboration with George Fahmy from Stakpak, this free bootcamp from MoreThanCertified is your hands-on guide to applying GenAI in real DevOps workflows. You’ll learn be deploying a security-related application to AWS EKS, using Agentic AI to remediate vulnerabilities and help with the GitHub deployment process. Everything we build can be customized for use in real-world applications, including those of your own, your company's, or your client's.
This is not just a hobby app. Whether you're a platform engineer, SRE, or DevSecOps practitioner, this is one to watch.
AI Assisted DevOps
Abhishek Veeramalla is an ex-Principal Software Engineer at Redhat created this cool playlist about AI-Assisted DevOps, where he teaches you about real-world applications of AI in DevOps, from automated CI/CD pipelines to intelligent monitoring and infrastructure automation, and it’s full of hands-on examples.
