Will AI Agents Replace Your DevOps Scripts? - Issue 12
> _ -
Hey VibeOps Community👋
Two companies are building AI agents that promise to turn "optimize load balancer performance" into actual config changes. Plus, new research reveals security flaws in AIOps systems. and more
Here are this week's AI 4 DevOps developments.
AI Native Infrastructure Automation
System Initiative built an AI agent that uses natural language to change infrastructure.
Tell it to "make load balancers more aggressive" and it finds your load balancers, analyzes them, and suggests the actual config changes. and of course you still need to approve everything as it propose the validated config changes against a digital twin first
SRE.ai Launches DevOps AI Agents
SRE.ai built AI agents that claim to automate DevOps workflows using natural language. They say it can execute CI/CD tasks across multiple cloud environments and automatically suggest fixes for infrastructure issues.

Upcoming Events
Is it Ship It or is it DevOpsDay Ukraine?
Did you miss our second epic Agent Battle (#9), where Stakpak and Claude Code battled over Kubernetes compliance!
They generated CIS Benchmark reports
Enforced Kyverno policies
Detected runtime threats with Falco.
This week's update: No Ship It this week, our CEO is at DevOpsDays Ukraine sharing AI for DevOps insights.🇺🇦
🗓️ We’ll be back next week at 10:00 GMT-7, live on YouTube & LinkedIn with another cool ship it session

Every week, we come across interesting blogs, papers, and tutorials that help us level up as a DevOps team. Here are some of the coolest ones we found this week. We hope they inspire you, too.
What is AI Ops?
AIOps applies machine learning to automate IT operations tasks like monitoring, scheduling, and incident response.
The technology identifies patterns in system data to detect anomalies and correlate events across infrastructure components.
Operations teams can fix issues more quickly while reducing manual intervention.

When AIOps Become "AI Oops"
Researchers have identified a security vulnerability in AIOps systems where attackers can manipulate telemetry data to mislead AI agents into taking harmful actions.
Their automated attack method generates false error interpretations that influence agent decision making without requiring system knowledge.
The study also presents a defense mechanism that filters malicious telemetry data, highlighting the need for security aware AIOps design as these systems become more autonomous.
