What Is AI Doing to DevOps? Insights from 2025 - Issue 15
> _ -
Welcome back to VibeOps 👋
This week we’ve got interesting insights from the DORA 2025 report, a major AI-powered DevSecOps release, and new research that pushes AI beyond code into real on call automation. We’ll also share how you can contribute to Stakpak @ Hacktoberfest and win swag!!
Coffee ready? Here are this week's AI 4 DevOps developments.
DORA 2025 Report
According to DORA 2025, 90% of teams now use AI in software development. But the report shows AI is an amplifier: strong teams get stronger, while weak systems risk instability. The real lesson? AI success depends less on tools and more on solid platforms, workflows, and culture.
Digital.ai Introduces New Version of Its AI-Powered DevSecOps Platform
Digital.ai announced the Banff release of its AI-powered DevSecOps platform, unifying data into a single “DevOps lake” to deliver predictive insights, stronger security, and cloud-native integrations.
The company says that this update should make it easier for enterprise to innovate while reducing risk
Akuity Launches AI Agents and Dashboards for Safer, Faster GitOps
Akuity says that AI can transform GitOps by adding intelligent agents into Kubernetes and Argo CD workflows. Their new Intelligence platform, AI dashboards and agents can detect degraded states, recommend or even execute fixes, and show insights about stability, security, and performance to make software delivery safer and faster.

Learning Resources
Every week, we come across interesting blogs, papers, and tutorials that help us level up as a DevOps team. Here are some of the coolest ones we found this week. We hope they inspire you, too.
Real AI Adoption Stats
In this episode of Agentic DevOps they talk about how engineering teams are actually using AI and agents day to day.
They cover where AI tools are helping like writing code, handling tasks, and speeding up workflows and where teams still need human judgment.
They talk about what’s working, what’s not, and how to get real value from AI in software development.
LogPilot: Intent-aware and Scalable Alert Diagnosis for Large-scale Online Service Systems
A new research paper introduces LogPilot, an AI driven framework that speeds up root cause analysis for large scale online systems. Instead of blindly scanning logs, LogPilot interprets the intent of alerts (e.g. PromQL rules), scopes only the relevant logs, reconstructs request flows, and then clusters them for LLM powered diagnosis.
In real-world tests, it cut analysis time to under a minute per alert and improved root cause localization accuracy by over 50% compared to existing tools. This shows how AI can move beyond coding assistance to practical on call DevOps automation.
