Is This the Start of Autonomous DevOps? - Issue 17
> _ -
Welcome back to VibeOps your weekly newsletter of how AI is changing DevOps. Each issue, we break down the most important launches, tools, research, and ideas changing the future of infrastructure and operations
This week’s edition is full of cool stuff: GitHub now supports 3rd party agents, and now you can use Stakpak directly from Slack and dynatraces and service now are partnering!!
Coffee ready? Here is this week's AI 4 DevOps news.
GitHub Now Supports 3rd Party Agents
GitHub now supports agents from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Cognition, and xAI will be available on GitHub as part of your paid GitHub Copilot subscription.
Stakpak Is Now In Slack
Stakpak now integrates directly with Slack, and it runs on your own infrastructure using GitHub action runners, bringing infrastructure automation, incident investigation, and cloud operations right into the tool where your team already collaborates every day.
You can ask it:
How much are we spending on EC2?
To pull logs, trace errors, or check deployment health without leaving Slack
To schedule cleanups, rotate keys, scale clusters, or update secrets without switching tools.
Dynatrace & ServiceNow drive autonomous operations?!
Dynatrace and ServiceNow are collaborating to make IT operations more autonomous where systems can spot and fix issues on their own.
They’re combining observability (Dynatrace) with operations management (ServiceNow) to move from reacting to problems to preventing them.
If this is true, then it will be very cool!
Upcoming Events
AI Native Dev
Stakpak will be at AI Native Dev giving a talk about how to build DevOps agents that wont accidentally delete your production database
📍 DevCon is November 18-19th in NYC.

Learning Resources
Every week, we come across interesting blogs, papers, and tutorials that help us level up as a DevOps team. Here are some of the coolest ones we found this week. We hope they inspire you, too.
The Role of AI in DevOps
In this blog, GitLab talks about the benefits of using AI in DevOps, and how to implement AI in DevOps, including the best practices for using AI
AI IN DEVOPS: A FRAMEWORK FOR PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE AND AUTOMATED ISSUE RESOLUTION
In this paper, the researcher explores how AI can make DevOps smarter and more proactive.
It shows how machine learning can predict issues before they happen, analyze logs automatically, and even help systems fix themselves.
The goal is to move from reacting to problems to preventing them, reducing downtime, and speeding up recovery when things go wrong.
