New Relic claims its new agentic AI integrations with Microsoft Azure will cut MTTR and increase developer productivity by bringing real time observability data directly into Azure’s SRE workflows.

The MCP powered setup lets AI agents access telemetry, make root cause analysis faster, and automate parts of incident response.

Honeycomb Announced Canvas

Honeycomb announced that Canvas is now in general availability. It brings AI guided observability that lets teams ask natural language questions about their systems and get insights, which is supposed to make debugging and incident investigation faster and more intuitive.

Opsera Announces Strategic Partnership with Koantek

Opsera and Koantek announced a partnership to speed up Databricks adoption by combining Opsera’s automated DevOps pipelines with Koantek’s Databricks expertise.

This collaboration is supposed to helps teams deploy data and AI workloads faster, with scalable automation, stronger governance, and quicker time to value.

GitHub now supports agents from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Cognition, and xAI will be available on GitHub as part of your paid GitHub Copilot subscription.

Stakpak now integrates directly with Slack, and it runs on your own infrastructure using GitHub action runners, bringing infrastructure automation, incident investigation, and cloud operations right into the tool where your team already collaborates every day.

DeepMind just released CodeMender, an AI agent built to automatically detect, patch, and harden code security flaws in real time. Instead of blindly scanning logs, LogPilot interprets the intent of alerts (e.g. PromQL rules), scopes only the relevant logs, reconstructs request flows, and then clusters them for LLM powered diagnosis.

In real-world tests, it cut analysis time to under a minute per alert and improved root cause localization accuracy by over 50% compared to existing tools. This shows how AI can move beyond coding assistance to practical on call DevOps automation.

Pulumi Announced Neo, an AI Platform Engineer

Pulumi announced Neo as an “AI-powered platform engineer” that they claim can accelerate infrastructure automation by up to 18×, cut provisioning times from days to hours, and reduce policy violations with built-in governance.

According to Pulumi, Neo is designed to handle natural language requests (e.g., “upgrade all Kubernetes clusters”), respect compliance policies, understand dependencies, and provide audit trails, effectively acting as an intelligent assistant for managing the full cloud infrastructure lifecycle.

Amazon Q Developer adds a new “interactive code review” in GitHub PRs.

AWS introduced an interactive code review feature in GitHub using Amazon Q Developer.

The feature lets developers request explanations, get suggested fixes, and apply changes directly in pull requests.

Microsoft Previews Logic Apps MCP Servers

Microsoft has launched a public preview of Logic Apps MCP Servers, allowing connectors in Azure Logic Apps to act as reusable MCP tools.

A Two-Staged LLM-Based Framework for CI/CD Failure Detection and Remediation with Industrial Validation

The authors present LogSage, an end-to-end framework that uses large language models (LLMs) to help detect when CI/CD pipelines fail, figure out why, and suggest / generate fixes automatically. It works in two stages: first, it preprocesses logs to extract the relevant error segments and remove noise, then it uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) plus tool-calling (i.e. invoking automated fix routines) to propose solutions based on past resolution patterns

GitHub has launched the Agents panel, it is a new feature that allows developers to delegate coding tasks to GitHub Copilot's coding agent from anywhere on GitHub.

It lets you assign background tasks with simple natural language prompts, monitor progress in real-time, and review completed work through draft pull requests—all without leaving your current page.

Whether you need to add integration tests, refactor code, or fix specific issues, the Agents panel serves as mission control for autonomous coding workflows, with Copilot working asynchronously in the cloud to complete tasks even when your computer is offline.

Microsoft Announces An AI Agent for Reverse Engineering!

Microsoft Research has announced Project Ire, which is an autonomous AI agent that can independently analyze and classify malware by fully reverse engineering software files without prior knowledge.

Microsoft said that the system achieved 98% precision in testing and has already identified advanced threats that were subsequently blocked by Microsoft Defender.

AWS CEO Matt Garman: “Replacing Junior Staff with AI Is the Dumbest Thing I’ve Ever Heard”

AWS CEO Matt Garman recently pushed back against companies replacing junior employees with AI, calling it "one of the dumbest things I've ever heard."

He said that companies should not replace entry-level employees with AI because these employees cost the least while bringing fresh energy and curiosity. More importantly, they’re the most adaptable to experimenting with and adopting AI tools in their day to day work.

He also said that instead of trying to replace them, companies should give junior engineers AI to accelerate their learning, boost productivity, and build the next generation of talent.

1. Amazon Q Developer MCP Support

On June 19, AWS announced support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP) in Amazon Q Developer for JetBrains and VS Code. MCP enables context-aware workflows by letting Amazon Q connect to tools like Jira, Figma, and databases, which bring task details, designs, and schema insights directly into your IDE.

2. Azure DevOps MCP Server Public Preview

On June 17, Microsoft launched the public preview of Azure DevOps MCP Server. It brings GitHub Copilot Agent Mode into your IDE with real-time access to Azure DevOps data—like work items, PRs, and test plans—enabling secure, context-aware DevOps workflows without leaving your editor.

3. DevSecOps With Amazon Q Developer

Amazon Q Developer can help you with DevSecOps by using generative AI to detect vulnerabilities, suggest secure code fixes, and enforce best practices—right from your IDE. It’s a step toward baking security directly into the dev workflow.

4. CloudBees announced early access to its new MCP Serve

CloudBees announced early access to its new MCP Server within the CloudBees Unify platform, enabling context-aware AI agents to seamlessly integrate with CI/CD pipelines across GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, and more.

The server acts as a lightweight, standardized bridge between LLMs (such as GPT and Claude) and enterprise DevOps tooling, making pipeline data, test, and security metrics, and governance metadata available to AI agents.

The goal is to orchestrate multi-step tasks—like running builds, applying policies, detecting compliance issues, and triggering remediation—via intelligent, policy-aware automations directly within Unify

On May 28, AWS released AWS Transform, which is a new modernization service powered by AI agents that automatically refactor infrastructure and application code, including legacy .NET, mainframe, and VMware workloads, using a natural language interface

5. Perforce Commits to Building Agentic AI Fabric for DevOps Workflows

On May 22, Perforce announced plans to embed an agentic AI framework called Perforce Intelligence across its entire DevOps toolset. The framework introduces AI agents into tools like Gliffy and Puppet Enterprise, enabling natural-language orchestration and automation of development, testing, and infrastructure tasks.

AI-powered DevOps tool

Many think that GitHub Copilot is just for writing code, but that’s not true; you can write CI/CD configs, debug pipelines, and even suggest infrastructure code.

GitHub is also testing Agentic DevOps features, where Copilot can reason about PRs, explain failing builds, and optimize workflows.

⚠️ Early reviews suggest it still struggles with more complex or DevOps specific tasks and may need further refinement.
